The first mobility – Staff Training – was set in our town Osijek. Teams from our partner schools from Germany, Italy and T\u00fcrkiye arrived in the middle of November in our foggy town, which conveniently became a good setting for our storytelling project.
Ice-breaking activities started on the arrival day in OPG Toli\u0107 Snje\u017eana, i.e. Viticin Bio Kutak<\/a> in the nearby village Ladimirevci, where we also met with nice people from the other Erasmus+ project organized by Ospera<\/a>, one of the best-known ecological organizations in our area. A nice evening had two peak points: traditionally made beef goulash and pub-quiz. So the story could begin next morning…
Wednesday workshops included a storytelling course by the expert Zlata Hr\u017eenjak, voting for our project logo, and a storytelling tour by our local attraction Nikolina Ba\u0161karad and her team from Reactor<\/a>. They made just for us a special mix of their two programs – “By Lantern Lights” and “Tales from Er\u017eika’s Millstone”, so this special, tailor-made tour included elements of all of the most important topics that we’ll cover through this project.
Next day we visited Nature Park Kopa\u010dki rit<\/a> where we had a nice walking tour, a boat trip and finally we visited a castle Tikve\u0161, known for its dynamic history of changing ownership rights (from royal lines of Habsburg family through short period of Kara\u0111or\u0111evi\u0107 family, and finally favorite hunting area by former Yugoslavian president Josip Broz Tito. Thursday’s tour continued with Baranja hills, famous for its wineyards and special types of houses. In our trip to Baranya our guests tasted some famous dishes like fish p\u00f6rk\u00f6lt (riblji perkelt), grilled freshwater fishes and veal under the bell (teletina ispod peke).
For our last day we had a course of video-making of our storyteller’s stories and certificate ceremony. We hope that our partners learned something, had a nice time and forgive us if anything was not perfect \ud83d\ude42
The next mobility will be in Heusenstamm, Germany from 01-05\/12\/2025 where we will include pupils from all these schools. Our organization will be represented by two experts who will provide several activities.
